When zooming in Manual Exposure mode, you may notice that the image brightness shifts. Changes in zoom affect the light intake, requiring you to manually readjust the ISO to restore the original brightness level.
Therefore, we introduced Auto Brightness Compensation in the OBSBOT Tail 2 to solve this problem.
Auto Brightness Compensation can be enabled within the OBSBOT Center software or Obsbot Start app. It works by automatically adjusting the ISO value as you zoom in Manual Exposure mode, maintaining consistent brightness from a wide angle to a tight close-up.
1. Launch OBSBOT Center on your computer and connect your Tail 2.
2. Go to the "Image" panel and find the "Exposure" section.

3. Ensure "Auto Exposure" is switched off.
Note: The "Auto Brightness Compensation" option will only appear when "Auto Exposure" is disabled.

4. Enable the "Auto Brightness Compensation" toggle, and you're now ready to zoom with steady brightness.

1. Open the Obsbot Start app on your phone or tablet and connect your Tail 2.
2. Navigate to the "More Settings" menu.

3. Find "Auto Brightness Compensation".

4. Toggle the switch to enable the feature.

5. Enter Manual Exposure mode and try zooming. Watch as your image brightness remains steady.

With Auto Brightness Compensation, OBSBOT Tail 2 takes the hassle out of manual shooting. Whether you're streaming or recording, this feature ensures your video stays well-exposed — so you can concentrate on creating stunning content.
