OBSBOT October Firmware & Software Update Now Available

We are excited to announce new firmware and software updates for Tail 2, Obsbot Start, and OBSBOT Center. OBSBOT Tail 2 Firmware Update

Upgrade to Version 7.2.9.1 now to access key updates.

1. Supports enabling/disabling "Hybrid Zoom"

This feature offers flexible zoom mode switching. When enabled, it supports a 1x-12x hybrid zoom, blending optical and digital zoom to capture distant subjects with acceptable image quality flexibly. When disabled, only 1x-5x optical zoom is available, ensuring premium image quality through pure lens optics. This toggle empowers users to choose between a wider zoom range for varied shooting scenarios or maximum image quality for crucial captures.

2. Added an Album page to the WEB UI

By integrating the Album page into the WEB UI, users can now browse, download, delete, and share batches of media files with enhanced intuitiveness and efficiency. This feature also enriches the overall functionality of our WEB UI interface.

3. Expanded gimbal control range: supports the lens facing straight up when placed horizontally and straight down when mounted upside down.

4. Fixed the issue where the FreeD data switch was reset after the device was powered off/on or restarted.

5. Fixed the issue where the image did not automatically flip when shooting overhead or in an inverted position with HDMI output in 4K.

6. Reduced audio latency during long-term HDMI output.

7. Fixed known bugs.

Obsbot Start Software Update

Upgrade now to Version 1.2.6 (Android) or Version 1.2.7 (iOS) for key updates.

When OBSBOT Center is connected to two or more devices under Pro Mode, navigate to Output Settings, click the dropdown arrow next to the screenshot icon, and a "Capture All Devices" button will pop up. Clicking this button enables simultaneous capture of real-time frames from all connected devices, a capability that significantly boosts productivity for content creators and live broadcast teams by eliminating the need for manual, sequential capturing.
