No. OBSBOT Tail Air 2 supports AI tracking for humans, animals, and objects. You can double-click or draw a selection box around a target to initiate tracking. It also offers six tracking speed levels and single-axis tracking for greater control over tracking behavior. In addition, customizable composition lines allow you to adjust the subject’s position in the frame.

OBSBOT Tail Air 2 supports Log recording, which can be enabled or disabled through Obsbot Start, OBSBOT Center, or Obsbot Live. Log recording supports 8-bit video.
Yes. OBSBOT Tail Air 2 features a built-in microphone and supports external microphones through the 3.5mm TRS (AUX) audio input, USB-C, and Bluetooth. Note: Bluetooth currently supports OBSBOT microphones only. Support for third-party Bluetooth microphones is planned for a future update. Availability and timing are subject to the actual release.
OBSBOT Tail Air 2 supports video output via Micro HDMI, USB-C Webcam, and NDI. Micro HDMI supports video output at up to 4K at 60fps. USB-C allows the camera to be used as a webcam when connected to a computer, while NDI enables video transmission over a network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Yes. OBSBOT Tail Air 2 supports multiple live-streaming workflows. You can stream directly using official software such as Obsbot Live and Obsbot Start, or connect the camera to professional live production systems or third-party streaming software via NDI, Micro HDMI, or USB-C for both single-camera and multi-camera live streaming.
Yes. OBSBOT Tail Air 2 is available in two versions: the NDI Edition and the Standard Edition. The NDI Edition comes with built-in NDI support and requires no additional activation or license. Simply connect the camera to a network to transmit video via NDI. The Standard Edition does not support NDI and cannot be upgraded to support NDI by purchasing a license.
Yes. OBSBOT Tail Air 2 supports multiple remote control methods. It can be controlled wirelessly via official software, including Obsbot Start, Obsbot Live, and OBSBOT Center, or via the Smart Remote Controller over Bluetooth. The Smart Remote Controller can control up to three Tail series devices simultaneously.
