We're excited to introduce the redesigned Lite Mode for OBSBOT Center, bringing a simpler interface and a more streamlined experience.

Whether you are joining a quick meeting, hosting an online class, or launching a live stream, the new Lite Mode brings your most-used features closer, making everyday tasks faster and easier. Note: Your First Launch & Mode Selection

• First Launch:

After updating, you'll see a one-time prompt to select between Lite Mode and Pro Mode. Rest assured, your existing configurations are fully preserved. This prompt simply lets you reconfirm your preferred mode.

• Switch modes anytime:
  • From Lite Mode to Pro Mode: Settings > Switch to Pro Mode.

• • From Pro Mode to Lite Mode: Settings > General Settings > Software Mode > Lite Mode.

• Instant Preview

The widescreen preview now opens automatically the moment you launch OBSBOT Center, at the maximum available resolution. You can instantly check your framing and look your best without clicking a single button.

• Faster Access & Cleaner Layout

We re-organized the interface based on feature usage frequency. Frequently used controls are now right at your fingertips for quicker access, keeping your workspace clean and distraction-free.

• Intelligent Guidance

Switching between landscape and portrait mode is now seamless. Clear prompts guide you on how to adjust your camera, ensuring the perfect angle every time.

• Mobile Device Control [NEW]

It allows you to control your device remotely. By scanning the on-screen QR code with a phone under the same Wi-Fi network, you can access a mobile control panel to instantly adjust the camera's presets, gimbal, and beauty effects.

• Tailored Image Control (Std. / Pro) [NEW]

Simplifies video tuning based on your experience level. Standard Controls hide complex settings to prevent accidental color or exposure shifts, while Professional Controls unlock full manual parameters for fine-tuning.

Professional-Only Features

• AI Lock / Unlock [NEW]

If you rarely use AI functions or want to avoid accidental tracking triggered by natural hand gestures or voice commands, you can lock the AI module. This pauses background AI features to eliminate accidental triggers, keeping your camera locked on you.

• Launch Minimized [NEW]

When enabled, OBSBOT Center starts quietly in the background at system startup, restoring your previous settings so you're ready to go without opening the main window.

• Regular Video Recording

Lite Mode now supports both Standard Recording and High-FPS Recording. Standard Recording applies all active effects and image adjustments directly to the recorded video.

For devices that support SD card recording (currently Tail Air and Tail 2 only), you can switch between Regular Recording and SD card recording.

• Hassle-Free Virtual Camera [NEW]

The virtual camera now automatically remembers its last active state. Additionally, applying effects such as Beauty, Rotation, or Mirroring will automatically activate the virtual camera, saving you extra steps.
