OBSBOT January Firmware & Software Update Now Available

We are excited to announce the January update for OBSBOT Tail 2, OBSBOT Center, and Obsbot Start. This release delivers a suite of powerful enhancements to bring greater creative control, streamlined workflows, and expanded connectivity. Let's dive into the details below to explore these new updates.

OBSBOT Tail 2 Firmware Update

Upgrade to Version 7.2.11.1 now to access key updates.

1. Supports adjusting White Balance Shift in Auto White Balance mode.

Fine-tune colors with an intuitive palette for accurate white balance in any scene.

2. Added Red/Blue Gain adjustment for flexible color correction and creative looks.

3. Added Exposure Curve for professional-grade image adjustment.

Note: Only supported in Manual Exposure mode.

4. USB-C port now supports external microphone connection, with adjustable volume, noise reduction, and auto gain settings. OBSBOT Vox can now connect directly to Tail 2 for seamless audio integration.

Note: The external microphone must meet a complete set of the following specifications (e.g., 48000/stereo/S16_LE). Meeting individual criteria is insufficient.

• Sample Rate: 192000, 96000, 48000, 44100, 32000, 16000, 8000
• Channels: stereo or mono
• Format: S32_LE or S16_LE

5. NDI/RTSP/SRT now supports 100fps/120fps output.

Note: Only supported at 1080p and 720p resolutions, and is not available in 4K.

6. Supports switching HDMI/SDI Output in Portrait Mode to match your streaming or recording needs.

7. Reduced latency for HDMI/SDI output, providing a better streaming and monitoring experience.

8. Added a Device Management page in the Web UI, offering streamlined control and monitoring of multiple devices.

9. Added file and folder naming management to help you organize media content more efficiently on the SD card. 

10. Optimized PTZ control with adaptive speed for different zoom levels, providing enhanced control experience.

11. Fixed some known bugs.

OBSBOT Center Software Update

Upgrade to Version 2.0.13.48 now to access key updates.

1. Added file and folder naming management to help you organize media content more efficiently on the SD card. (For Tail 2)

2. USB-C port now supports external microphone connection, with adjustable volume, noise reduction, and auto gain settings. (For Tail 2) 

3. Supports switching HDMI/SDI Output in Portrait Mode to match your streaming or recording needs. (For Tail 2)
