LAS VEGAS, NV, April 20, 2026 – OBSBOT, a global leader in AI-powered smart videography, is demonstrating how intelligent camera automation and IP-based connectivity are reshaping modern production workflows at NAB Show 2026, held April 19–22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Exhibiting at Booth C5144, OBSBOT presents a series of fully operational production environments built around its flagship Tail 2 PTZR camera, spanning multi-camera podcasting, virtual production, and large-scale volumetric capture. The company also unveils its next-generation all-in-one live production system, Talent 2, alongside demonstrations of the Tail Air and the new Tiny 3 webcam series.
The Tail 2 Is the Through-Line: AI-Driven Performance for Hybrid Production
At the core of OBSBOT's NAB showcase is the Tail 2, a professional PTZR camera purpose-built for the demands of modern hybrid production. Delivering 4K capture at 60fps with AI Tracking 2.0, the Tail 2 enables precise, real-time subject tracking — allowing talent to move naturally while maintaining consistent framing without manual camera operation.
With extensive protocol support — including NDI, FreeD, SDI, HDMI, and Ethernet — the Tail 2 integrates seamlessly across traditional broadcast systems, IP-based infrastructure, and virtual production pipelines. A native vertical 4K rotation mode enables simultaneous content creation optimized for both broadcast and social media platforms.

OBSBOT introduces the OBSBOT Live Podcast Studio at NAB 2026, which is a fully operational multi-camera production environment designed for small teams. As video podcasting evolves into a mainstream content format, production expectations have risen while crew sizes remain constrained.
The solution pairs the Tail 2 with the Tiny 3 series and the upcoming Talent 2 control hub within an NDI-based architecture. AI-powered tracking allows presenters to move freely, while centralized control enables switching, monitoring, and recording from a single compact interface, delivering broadcast-level production quality without the complexity of traditional multi-operator setups.

The OBSBOT Virtual Production Studio demonstrates real-time integration of FreeD camera tracking with virtual environments and character-based workflows. The Tail 2 and Tiny 3 transmit real-time positional data to synchronize physical camera movements with virtual scenes, enabling responsive AR overlays and dynamic virtual sets.
The Tiny 3 series further expands creative possibilities with built-in avatar capabilities, supporting VTubing and virtual talent applications. By combining AI tracking with precision motion data, OBSBOT substantially reduces manual camera operation demands, making virtual production more accessible to creators.

In collaboration with 4DV.ai (Booth C5249), OBSBOT is powering a large-scale volumetric capture installation using an array of approximately 60 Tail 2 cameras. This deployment demonstrates how synchronized PTZR camera systems can serve as distributed imaging infrastructure for 4D Gaussian Splatting-based capture, producing immersive volumetric video experiences viewable in VR on the show floor.
This installation highlights the expanding role of AI-driven cameras in computational video pipelines, with applications spanning sports broadcast, immersive media, live events, and exhibitions.
Making its world debut at NAB 2026, Talent 2 is OBSBOT's all-in-one live production hub, built on the principle of "Aggregate. Automate. Amplify." The compact system consolidates video switching, 4K encoding, recording, monitoring, and multi-camera control into a single device, eliminating the need for complex multi-device setups and external computing.
"OBSBOT is focused on building intelligent tools that adapt to how modern teams create," said Liu Bo, CEO of OBSBOT. "Our goal is to remove technical barriers and give creators the freedom to focus on content, not complexity."

Across all NAB Show 2026 demonstrations, OBSBOT highlights a key industry trend: AI-powered cameras are evolving into core components of scalable video production infrastructure.
By combining automated tracking, flexible connectivity, and system-level integration, OBSBOT enables efficient, flexible, and cost-effective production workflows aligned with industry shifts toward remote production, IP video, and AI-assisted content creation.
From the Tail series cameras to the Tiny series webcams and a growing ecosystem of accessories, OBSBOT continues to expand its AI video solutions to support broadcasters, content creators, and enterprise teams.
